Oat beta-glucan has been shown to lower blood cholesterol, when taking the recommended daily amount. One portion (30g) of CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ contains 3g of oat beta-glucan, enough to reduce your blood cholesterol levels. One sachet of CardiOat Crispy Hearts™ is equivalent to three bowls of regular porridge oats. It is also high in fibre and a good source of protein.
